Checkered Girl

I went to the soccer tonight at Etihad Stadium - not a bad night at all. Drew this one on the way home on the train and the girl sitting next to me gave me a compliment for it.

I love this soccer inspired design. The close fitting aspect of the torso is elegant and the energetic head arrangement calls to mind the palm trees of Queensland as they sway in the winds of Yasi. Once again Mattner redefines Australian Summer cyclone fashion.
